A period of time that I have found most blissful is the early mornings. Not so much the hateful beeping of the alarm or slinking out of my warm cosy bed, but the little chink of time we get in the morning when everyone else is still asleep. I have started to use this time as my daily personal time: a quite cup of herbal tea, a few moments on the internet to see who’s visited my blog, or to comment on another blog (or to check if I’ve won those beads on ebay).
It’s the only time I get to bother with putting some cream on my face or sit quietly for a bit. Also there's something very serene about the early morning light.
I think this is a good time to centre yourself, think about how you want to spend or use this day and get in the right framework to deal with the day. By the time I leave the house with my reading book, little notebook and a brown roll for brekkie number two in my bag, I usually feel pretty upbeat in the face of rain, busses and work.
Assalam Alaikum,
ReplyDeleteWise words! This is a true inspiration alhamdulillah. I think some personal time and a few moments to reflect to give you additional energy to face the day. InshaAllah, I will be able to implement this ASAP...still working on the evening routine as well...
