Ooooooooh, give me those pecan nuts! High heels? I would be a danger to the community...the car, on the other hand...how would you fit three children in there? :-) Nature, a big YES...I went for a great walk next to a nearby lake today...it amazes me how some clean oxygen can clear up your mind!
Assalam-alaikam Sis Umm Nassim, Oh how I love pecans, but they are quite expensive here, so my sisters buy them for me on Eid (hint, hint). Heels make me feel like I mean business. I don't know about danger to community, maybe a danger to myself (like the time I nearly tripped in my 4-inch leopard-print heels in front of a load of builders).
I agree about the affect of nature. I have problems with my eyes and mash'Allah when I am in the countryside I find the greenery so soothing for them. Plus I like the idea of endless meadows full of wild flowers and grass tall enough for your kids to hide in.
I'm Umm Salihah, I am a Muslim, I am mama to my five cheeky sweethearts (Little Lady 17, Little Man 15, Gorgeous 13, Darling 8 and Baby 6).
My passions include writing, books, bargain-hunting, dawah, crafts (cards, banners and jewellery), art, travel with my children, henna, being organised and the English countryside. You can contact me at umm_salihah@yahoo.co.uk
