Thank You Cards For Teachers

I made these cards a while ago and put them away for the last week of school along with some gifts I had picked up in the sales.

I do think that the poor teachers who have to zoo-keep my full-of-beans munchkins should get some kind of thank-you for all they do all year. Yes they do get paid, but there is a world of difference between teachers who work for pay and those who teach because it is a passion and because they love children and want to make a difference.

I also think its good dawah for the Muslim mothers (or fathers) to show gratitude and behave with good grace, so even for those who can’t afford gifts, a card with a thoughtful message is something, and for those who can’t stretch to that, perhaps a sincere thank you giving an example of something your child learnt or really enjoyed during the year would be appreciated your child’s last day?

  2. MashAllah, great cards and I simply love the bags! I also think you cannot thank a great teacher enough. We invited my son's teacher for lunch after school was out. It was a success (if I say so myself :-))...

  3. Assalam-alaikam,

    Sis Lazeeena,
jazakh'Allah-khairun for your kind comment. They are from a few months ago and I stashed them so they feel a little lame now to me.

    Sis iMuslimah,
but your having fun right? Then you'llbe great at this soon.

    Sis Umm Nassim,
Hmm the bags, Little Lady got the school one and kicked up a stink because she wanted the pink one. What a sweet gesture, I would never have thought of inviting the kid's teachers home, but it is a nice thought.
