Hannah Banner and Card

It was the birthday of a colleague yesterday, so I made these for her and left them at the office to be handed to her with her gift.

I really enjoyed making this card, she is very girly and very sweet, and I knew exactly what I wanted. The blue backing paper is from DCWV Spring 2009 Cardstack, The pink gems were from iMuslimah, the stamps I used were Making Memories magnetic stamps I picked up from a market for a few pennies. The tool to line up the letters is missing, so I had to do the words by hand. The flowers were from old artificial flowers I have taken apart, layered up in the colours of the card.

The banner was made using blue patterned cardstock, with green scalloped circles stuck on top. Th green circles looked to plain, so I stamped them with a mandala-stamp (another boot sale find for 50p which is still in shops for about £6) with silver ink. The letters were chipboard from Papermania to which I added gems.
