Mothers Day Flowers

I know, I know, every day is Mothers Day for a Muslim, but it is nice to get flowers. Muslim's honour their mothers above all other relations, believing that paradise lies under their feet. So Mothers Day is not as much of a big deal, but I don't hear anyone complaining about getting flowers.

These are from my children to me (courtesy of Kooky Little Sister)

These two show-stoppers are from my sisters to my mum:

These tulips were from my children to their nan (red from Little Lady, yellow from Gorgeous and the mixed-coloured ones from Little Man)

Kooks bought mum this beautifully embroidered suit, a departure from the bright jewel-tone colours that she usually picks out.

This was my favourite flower of all from Gorgeous (I wonder how many of these his teacher had to make!). He handed it to me on Saturday with a cross look on his face. I did the "Wow for ME!!" thing and he said "No - I need to hide it!", I told him to hide it under his bed. He handed it to me this morning with a smile.
