I have been getting regular Ramadan reminders and advice from a few websites. The following one about the last days of Ramadan I found particularly useful:
From Productive Muslim:
I know it is tempting to relax in these last days of Ramadan and simply wait for Eid, but Ramadan is NOT over yet and you need to give one last push of effort for Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala).
Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: "Verily, the (results of) deeds done, depend upon the last actions." (Bukhari)
You never know, perhaps one deed you do for the sake of Allah (Subhanau Wa Ta'ala) in these last days becomes a reason for you to be saved from the Fire.Just one last push!
Another one I cannot find for the life of me, but touched me deeply. It described how during the hajj, in the last few hours that pilgrims spend at Arafat, they become aware of the short time they have and this lends an urgency to their supplications. They make dua for every big and small thing in detail. The last few hours of Ramadan can take on the same urgency and we should supplicate as much as possible for everyone and for all of our current and future needs insh'Allah.
Please remember me and my family in your dua's insh'Allah! You will all be in mine insh'Allah.
Masha'Allah thank you for the reminders, dear sister.
ReplyDeleteI wish you and your family a blessed Eid! You're all in my duaas!
Lots of love from Denmark <3
PS: The beautiful Eid-card you sent me last year is still hanging in my room. It's too pretty to put away :-)
