Fashionista's Nikah Banner

As Fashionista's Nikah (our marriage ceremony, or the Muslim equivalent of vows) was hosted at my house, I wanted to make an effort and personalise as many things as possible for the couple.  One thing I enjoyed making was the Nikah banner.

I printed off letters in pastel colours and cut them out, then I added crystals in the same colours to each letter.

Instead of pasting them onto pennants, I stuck these straight onto some pastel ribbon and embellished with some suitable flowers, wedding themes embellishements and

I ended up making two of these, one with a bridal theme for the room the women were sitting in and one with a groom theme for the room where the men were sitting.  Everyone liked these and I am proud to say one of them ended up in Fashionista's new home with her husband.
