Picture of the Day 03.06.13 - An Oasis of Peace
We visited Audley End House and Gardens earlier this week which had some lovely grounds. I found this spot to pray under an enormous tree whose branches leaned over to touch the ground.
Despite the hot day, it felt like being in a cool room with the dappled sunlight coming through - a little bit magical.
I prayed with the cool breeze on my face and the shade over me alhamdulillah.
See you not how Allah sets forth a parable? A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky (i.e. very high). - The Holy Quran (14:24)
