I love the glasses Shutterbug sister bought for my mum:
This year Little Lady made a banner of her own to gift to her grandmother, which they out up for Eid.
I like this picture that Kooky Little Sister took:
Later in the day, hubby got a phone call from the butcher saying that our Qurbani (or Udhiyya or sacrifice) had been performed and we could collect the meat. Once we had the meat, I and mum-in-law made parcels and hubby distributed to family, neighbours and friends. (You can find out more about the sacrifice here and here).
In the evening we were invited to my Uncle S's house for dinner and enjoyed gorgeous food again, followed by creamy cake and good company in the form of my sisters and cousins.
This brings me a beautiful memories. Here, it is pretty much the same how we celebrate Eid al-Adha. Just, here the kids are those who go through the neighborhood and give the meet and than people gift them with sweets and sometimes with money. Like this post:)
