Leeds University Research Survey on Muslim Children and Health Education

I was recently contacted by a student at Leeds University who is studying under Dr Mustapha Sheikh, who is a Lecturer in Islamic Studies. She is conducting research on Health Education in secondary schools particularly looking at the Muslim perspective and is looking for people to complete a survey giving their opinion on how health education is imparted to children.

Below is a summary of her research:

If you are a parent with children in secondary education, I would be grateful if you would complete my survey, which aims to collect information on how health and well being is taught in secondary schools. I am specifically looking at the Muslim faith but people of any religious (or indeed no religious) background are free to take it as I will use that information for comparative purposes. The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete!

Please do take the time to complete the survey for her, I have had a go and it did take less than five minutes. I think it is important that Muslim parents have an active voice in area's that influence the research and thinking around their children's education and I think it would be good to see the diversity of Muslim views represented.
