Ramadan Giving Day 8: Islamic Aid
Islamic Aid is a relief and development charity working to make immediate and lasting improvements to the lives of people affected by poverty, war and disaster. Islamic Aid works in many parts of the world to bring change that eradicates the causes of poverty, striving to achieve equality, dignity and freedom for all, regardless of faith or nationality.

Islamic Aid has a '100% Policy', this means that every penny given, goes to help the poor.

Their current campaigns for Ramadan include Ramadan food packs and iftar and suhoor for orphaned children and children at madrasa.

O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you ~ Quran 2:254

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: “The Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) was the most generous person, and he used to become more so (generous) particularly in the month of Ramadan…more generous than the fast wind in doing good” (Bukhari).
